Visit to Doctor Shella

"Visit to Doctor Shella"

This is the story when i accompanied my girlfriend to my cousin, shella’s house.
shella was a 7 years old girl, she was so active and naive, she asked us to accompany (i mean, babysit) her for a day long.

we played may things, snake and ladders, chess, and any other board games.
finally shella became bored herself and asked us to change the game.

when jocelyn asked her what to play, she took out the toy box and pull out a medical kit (lucky me!) and then without longer hesistate, we play doctor

“big sis, you are the sick girl.. and big bro, you are the sick girl’s husband!” said shella
Jocelyn and i laughed, but then we agreed.

“good afternoon miss, how can i help you?” shella pretended to be the doctor so great that i can’t stop thinking how clever is this 6 years old girl on acting.

i played my part of the game “doctor, my wife’s tummy is sick, she can’t go to the toilet  for a week..” and jocelyn slapped me softly and laughed a lot, so was shella did

“can i be cured doctor?” said jocelyn, pretending to be a good patient after all.

“okay, let me check you first.. please lie down on the examination table” said doctor Shella

the exam table is actually a mat held in the living room. Jocelyn lied down there while Shella put the toy stethoscope on her ears.

And then shella was pretending to check jocelyn’s  heartbeat and lungs. She put the stethoscope on jocelyn’s chest and said “ take a deep breath in... hold, exhale.. good”
jocelyn and i were laughed together when she act like a professional doctor

she put the stethoscope on the right side of the chest and did the same.
she did it for a couple of times and said
“miss, i need to check your tummy, could you lift your shirt a little?”

Jocelyn stared at me and said  “don’t be a perv okay? This is a game, just a game!”
i laughed and said “take it easy, i saw your belly when you’re at the real doctor, so what is the damn difference?”
she laughed back and lifted her clothes so shella may put the stethoscope on her belly .

shella pretend to listen to her belly, she moved the stethoscope for a couple of times, and then pretended to palpate Jocelyn’s tummy .
the palpation ends when Shella tickled Jocelyn so hard XD


“sit down please..” shella said. “i’m gonna check your back”
Jocelyn sits, and shella lifted her shirt. once again, she asked Jocelyn to take a deep breath.

she unplugged her stethoscope and take out a tube, i thought it must be a penlight or something like that. And that was true

“say aahhhh” Shella said
Jocelyn opened her mouth and show her tongue

“okay miss, we’re done”

“then what is my sickness doc?”

“you had a loose bowel (OMG..), take a rest or i’ll have to operate you. And...”
she give Jocelyn a bundle of leaves, and said
“take these herbs too, once  a day!”

we laughed so hard, and then i said ”thank you doctor!”
